CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The Cincinnati Reds and Major League Baseball are partnering with Autism Speaks to recognize April as Autism Awareness Month.
At Sunday's game against the Nationals, the Reds recognized and raised awareness for the disorder that affects nearly one in 88 American children.
The autism awareness game offered fans the opportunity to purchase tickets to benefit the cause. A portion of each ticket purchased will be donated to Autism Speaks.
Autism Speaks has grown into the world's leading autism science and advocacy organization, dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and a cure for autism.
