JEFFERSONVILLE, IN (WAVE) - A judge will decide whether to set a bond for a woman facing charges in connection to a deadly stabbing.
Dana Eisenbeck, 25, testified she's seven months pregnant during a bond hearing Thursday. Eisenbeck remains in the Clark County Jail without bond. Defense attorney Perry McCall told the judge Eisenbeck's pregnancy is considered high risk. McCall indicated Eisenbeck's family would be able to post 10% of a $100,000 bond.
Court documents state James Washington, 35, and Eisenback went to Bob Eader's apartment to get $40 he owed them for drugs.
Police said Eisenback stayed in the car while Washington and Eader smoked crack in the apartment. Washington admitted to police that when he tried to grab the cash a fight ensued and he stabbed Eader in the chest and throat.
Officers believe that after the murder, the suspects drove to Missouri where Eisenback has family. They later returned to Jeffersonville to turn themselves in.
Washington is charged with murder, robbery, dealing and conspiracy to deal cocaine. Eisenback also faces cocaine charges as well as assisting a criminal.
