Local bomb squad busy; threats made at 3 NKY schools

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The bomb squad was busy overnight and Tuesday morning, responding to several reports.

Students at Woodland Middle School in Taylor Mill were briefly evacuated Tuesday morning after the school received a letter reporting a bomb at the school. Nothing was found, and students returned to class.

Bomb threats were also made Tuesday afternoon at Summit View school and Simon Kenton High School, both in Kenton County.

There was a report Tuesday morning of a suspicious package in Downtown Cincinnati that shut down Sycamore Street between Third and Fourth streets for a short time. No one was hurt.

There was also a report Tuesday morning of a suspicious package on SR 129 near the William Foster Bridge in Liberty Township. Nothing was found.

The Cincinnati bomb squad also made three runs overnight. All of the cases turned out to be false alarms.
