Summit held for crime victims and advocates

NORWOOD, OH (FOX19) - In honor of National Crime Victims' Rights Week, Xavier University hosted the 'UCanSpeakForMe Cincinnati Summit to Honor Crime Victims and Advocates' on Monday.

The 3rd annual event educates victims of their rights as well as those who advocate for victims on their behalf.

The summit lasts through Tuesday and is free to the public.

UCanSpeakForMe is a non-profit organization, founded by Hope Dudley. Dudley's son, Daniel "Chaz" Dudley, was the victim of a drive by shooting as a passenger in a friend's vehicle.
