LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

Liberty Township Commissioners got an update Thursday morning on a huge new development that's coming to town. Liberty Town Square will be located on SR 129, just off Interstate 75.

It's being developed by Steiner and Associates, the same developer of the Easton Town Center, near Columbus.

Construction is scheduled to begin this fall, with the first phase opening in Spring 2015.

The first phase of the project will include approximately 1.3 million square feet of retail, dining and entertainment options, including 100,000 square feet of Class A Office, 50,000 square feet of restaurant and dining, 150,000 square feet of upscale residential, a 60,000 square-foot cinema and a 135-key hotel.

Dillard's Department Store will anchor this development with a 2-level, 200,000 square foot state of the art store.

No word yet on an exact jobs figure, but officials with Steiner and Associates anticipate an annual payroll of $160 million in wages.
