(FOX19) - A Northern Kentucky doctor has been indicted on a sex charge.
Kevin McGinnis, 59, was indicted by a Kenton County grand jury on one count of unlawful use of electronic means to induce a minor to engage in sexual activities.
McGinnis was taken into custody on April 26 following an investigation that began in December 2012.
McGinnis reportedly thought he was chatting with a 14-year-old girl online. The girl, however, was actually an undercover officer. Authorities say over the course of the investigation, McGinnis engaged in conversations of a sexual nature. He allegedly exposed himself via web camera.
According to online searches, McGinnis was a gynecologist with St. Elizabeth Medical Center.
