A returning soldier surprised his son in a unique way on Sunday.
Staff Sgt. Lee Clark, of the 449th Engineer Company in Fort Thomas, returned from Afghanistan on Sunday afternoon.
He had not seen his son in two years.
Clark's son was celebrating his 12th birthday on Sunday at a Buffalo Wild Wings in Independence. The boy was unaware that his father had returned earlier that day.
Clark decided to surprise his son by dressing up in the Buffalo Wild Wings mascot costume.
As Clark's family came in for dinner, they were entertained by the mascot.
The mascot took off his head revealing his true identity to the boy.
