11 Tri-State veterans honored for service

WOODLAWN, OH (FOX19) -

Several veterans in the Tri-State were honored for their service on Tuesday.

Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown presented overdue or replacement medals to 11 southwest Ohio veterans and their families.

Veterans who received medals were:

  • Joshua Debord, Delhi, 13 years of service
  • Nathan Wainscott, Delhi, 9 years of service
  • Bryan Hamilton, Mason, 11 years of service
  • Michael Vanover, Milford, 15 years of service
  • Mark Hobbs, Price Hill, 24 years of service
  • Douglas Molnar, Beavercreek, 17 years of service
  • Timothy Coss, Loveland, 17 years of service
  • Thomas Winkler, Milford, 12 years of service
  • Jimmy Gribben, Lakota, 15 years of service
  • Kyle Sanders, Batavia, 16 years of service
  • Rick Hance, Delhi, 21 years of service

Following the presentation, Sen. Brown tweeted, "@SenSherrodBrown: Honored to help present medals to @OHNationalGuard & their families today in Woodlawn"

The event was held at Woodlawn Parks and Recreation Department, where the Ohio National Guard trains.
