DELHI TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - A North Bend man was arrested Monday after police reportedly stopped him in his tracks during a burglary.
Authorities were called to the 5300 block of Plumridge Drive for a burglary in progress after a neighbor heard loud noises coming from the residence. Police say no one was home at the time.
Upon arrival, officers made a perimeter around the home and saw a male suspect inside taking a hammer to the walls.
The suspect, identified as Jason L. Vaughn, 23, was caught off-guard and attempted to flee. He was taken into custody shortly after.
Police believe he was attempting to remove copper piping from the home.
Vaughn was charged with burglary and multiple unrelated traffic charges.
