Butler Co. judge resigns

HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) -

A Butler County Common Pleas judge is resigning.

Hon. Andrew Nastoff is moving out of state to be with his wife and children. The resignation is effective Aug. 2.

 Nastoff was appointed Judge of Common Pleas Court, General Division on January 12, 2005. He served as Acting Judge of Fairfield Municipal Court from January, 2001 until his appointment to the Common Pleas Bench.

Prior to service on the bench, Judge Nastoff maintained an active, private law practice with emphasis on criminal litigation. Judge Nastoff also served as an Assistant Butler County Prosecuting Attorney assigned to the Felony Criminal Division and served as an Assistant Law Director for the City of Hamilton.
