3 teens hurt in Ripley Co. crash

DABNEY, IN (FOX19) -

A single vehicle crash in Ripley County sent three teenagers to the hospital.

It happened just after 5 p.m. Sunday at Michigan Road in Dabney. 

According to the Ripley County Sheriff's Office, William A. Miller, 18, of Sunman, had been traveling south on Michigan Road when the red 1998 Ford Ranger he was operating left the wet roadway on the left side for uncertain reasons, and collided with a tree, injuring Miller along with two passengers. 

Miller was transported from the scene by Milan Rescue 30 to Margaret Mary Health Care for treatment of internal injury and lacerations.

Passenger Emily L. Farmer, 17, of Osgood, was transported from the scene by Rescue 69 to Margaret Mary Health Care for treatment of internal injury. Passenger Jared R. Mains, 17, of Osgood, was transported from the scene by Ripley County EMS to Margaret Mary Health Care for treatment of internal injuries.

The accident is currently under investigation by the Ripley County Sheriff's Office.
