Toledo mother sentenced to prison for child endangering

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A Toledo mother accused of slamming her child's head into a baby crib was sentenced Tuesday.

On March 26, Brook Ennis pleaded no contest to get a reduced charge of attempted child endangering. 

On Tuesday, Ennis was sentenced to 14 months in jail.

According to court documents, Brooke Ennis admitted to throwing her 3-year-old son into his crib. Police say the child suffered a fractured skull, broken ribs and bleeding injuries on the brain.
