PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Two suspects are wanted in connection to a beer robbery right before 1 a.m. at the Circle K located at 6000 N. 23rd Ave. in Phoenix on Thursday, April 4.

The two suspects, a male and a female, went into the Circle K and each grabbed two 12-packs of beer before trying to walk out of the store.

As the suspects tried to leave, a security guard blocked the door while a second security guard had a can of pepper spray. Both told the suspects to stop, according to Phoenix police.

The male suspect pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the security guards demanding for the them to get out of the way, said police. The guards moved and both suspects left the Circle K parking lot in a red Ford Taurus car.

Police describe the first suspect as a male Hispanic who is roughly 5'6" to 5'8", weighing roughly 205 to 225 pounds with a shaved head and dark shirt, armed with a handgun.

The second suspect is a female Hispanic who is roughly 5'4" to 5'6", weighing roughly 140 to 160 pounds with black hair that was up in a bun-type hairstyle and wearing a long-sleeve blouse.
