CLIFTON, OH (FOX19) - Work has finally begun on the old Keller's IGA in Clifton on Wednesday, after facing longstanding challenges to finance the project.
Goessling's Market, the new name for the updated grocery store, has met more than two years of financial battles with the City of Cincinnati.
Features planned for the store include fresh meats and seafood, organic produce, wine, beer and a selection of prepared foods.
It will be the only grocery store in the Clifton neighborhood, located at 319 Ludlow Avenue.
The former Keller's IGA was forced to close in January 2011 because of back taxes.
Goessling's Market is expected to be completed by September.
