His next court date will be the preliminary hearing and it was set for Wednesday, May 22 at 1 p.m.

Payne remains in the Daviess County Detention Center.

Payne is charged with 1,172 counts of Possession of Matter Portraying a Sexual Performance by a Minor, which is a class D Felony. He was also charged with one count of Possession of Marijuana and one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Payne was arrested without incident Tuesday morning by the Kentucky State Police ICAC Task Force.
