An accident involving two semi trucks slowed traffic on northbound I-71 on Wednesday morning in Gallatin County.
The accident occurred just after 6 a.m. and took several hours to clear.
According to the Gallatin County Sheriff's Office, a semi was stopped on the shoulder when it was struck by a second semi truck.
The driver of the second semi truck was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The other driver was not hurt.
