Cincinnati Firefighters were on the scene of a pallet fire for several hours late Wednesday night.
The outdoor pallets were stored at 2000 State Avenue in Lower Price Hill.
The stack of pallets was 150 feet long by 50 feet wide and 15 feet high. Due to the location of the fire and the lack of a water source two additional engine companies were called to help.
It took firefighters four hours to extinguish the fire. They needed to use a large track hoe excavator to help move the burning pallets.
The fire department says they used almost a mile of hose to fight the fire.
The cause of the fire is undetermined. One firefighter suffered a minor injury.
