A Warren County woman is arrested after authorities say she attempted to pay someone to kill her ex-husband via Facebook.

Heather Boling, 28, was charged with conspiracy to commit aggravated murder.

Investigators say Boling sent a Facebook message to someone she knew in Indianapolis asking for help to kill her ex-husband. That person then contacted authorities to look into the post.

From there, the Warren County Sheriffs Office was notified and acted quickly.

Authorities say Boling sent the Facebook message last week, believed to have started from a dispute over the custody their child.

"He was not to be hurt or scared, she wanted him dead," Lt. Eric Johnson.

Last night the Warren County Sheriffs Office was notified of everything by authorities in Indianapolis, and Lieutenant Eric Johnson says they had to move quickly. This afternoon, one of their detectives posed as a hitman and set up a meeting in the parking lot of an outlet mall.

"We did meet with her and discuss what she wanted done and there was some talk of money, there was a deal made," Lt. Johnson.

After the exchange of money, officials say Boling was quickly taken into custody.

"This is very rare. From the inception of it it's a little odd," Lt. Johnson.

Johnson says they're department is thankful for the person who initially reported the Facebook message to authorities in Indianapolis.

"Had this guy just idly looked at this Facebook and said you know what, there's nothing here. This is a joke, it's not real. Who knows what would have happened," Lt. Johnson.

The Warren County Sheriff's Office believes there's no other suspects involved but this investigation is ongoing.

In court on Monday Boling's bond was set at $100,000.
