CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The Springdale Police Department and the Tri-County Mall are hosting the 22nd Annual Law Enforcement Expo this weekend.
The event strives to bring police together in an environment that allows the public to meet the officers in an informal setting, see the 'tools of the trade' of police work and learn about the job police officers do in protecting the public. The event also provides education on a variety of crime prevention and personal safety topics.
The public also is permitted to sit in some of the police vehicle that were on display.
Agencies participating include Springdale Police Department, Sharonville Police Department, Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, Hamilton County Park Rangers, Forest Park Police Department, Ohio State Patrol Post 9, SPCA, Amberly Village and Wyoming Police Department.
The event took place on the lower level of Tri-County Mall on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
