Retired KY plumber wins $1M in Powerball

A retired Kentucky plumber is now a millionaire.

On Monday, the winners of a $1 million Powerball prize from the May 15th drawing and the two winners of $1 million prizes from the May 18th drawing claimed their jackpots. 

The $1 million Powerball ticket from the 15th was sold at Smitty's in Radcliff, and the winner wished to remain anonymous. 

The winner of Saturday's $1 million prize sold at the Thorntons in Bucker also wished to remain anonymous.

The final $1 million prize sold in Vine Grove at Basham's Corner Mart was claimed by Ralph Staples, a 71-year-old retired plumber from Paynesville, KY.
