Loveland man seriously injured in 275 crash

CALIFORNIA, OH (FOX19) - Part of eastbound 275 was closed for three hours after an accident early Tuesday morning.

Officers say the James Jones, 44, of Loveland, was driving eastbound on 275 near the Kellogg exit when he lost control, ran off the left side of the road and flipped his Honda into a median.

Police say Jones was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be cut out.

Jones was taken to the hospital and is now listed in critical condition.

Officers say speed and alcohol are suspected to be factors in the crash. Jones was wearing his seatbelt.

The highway was shut down until just before 7:00 a.m.
