COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - Colerain Township Fire and EMS, along with the Northwest Local School District, will be conducting a multiple victim training exercise on Friday.
Organizers say the purpose of the exercise is to provide school staff with the basic skills needed to begin evaluating patients in the event of a multiple injury incident on school grounds.
In April, the Northwest Local School District held a large-scale, active shooter scenario, involving as many as 30 'victims'.
Friday's exercise will be relevant towards science lab mishaps, athletic event accidents and vehicle accidents.
The training is scheduled for Friday, May 24 9 a.m. at the Houston Early Learning Center, located at 3310 Compton Road.
