14-year old indicted as adult on murder charges
A 14-year-old boy indicted as an adult on charges of aggravated murder and murder in the shooting deaths of two men could be sentenced to life in prison if convicted. Ohio law does not allow anyone under the age of 18 to be executed. David Harris, of Cincinnati, was indicted yesterday on one count of aggravated murder, one count of murder and two counts of aggravated robbery in the deaths of 27-year-old George Vance and 20-year-old David Hutchinson. The men were robbed and killed four days apart in May. Harris remains in the Hamilton County jail in Cincinnati in lieu of a one-point-four (m) million-dollar bond. He is being held separate from adults.
