Citizen Files For Immediate Removal Of Allen From Office

Tuesday a suburban Cincinnati taxpayer has filed a lawsuit today asking that Hamilton County Prosecutor Michael Allen be removed from office. Carrie Davis says the sexual affair that Allen admitted he had with an employee amounted to willful neglect of duty and misconduct in office.

The hearing has been set up for Thursday at 10 a.m. in Judge Thomas Crush's court room.

Under Ohio Revised Code a tax payer can file a complaint calling for the removal of an elected official from office. If this is done a judge then must hear the case immediately to decide if the elected official should be removed.

Neither Allen nor his lawyer has returned calls seeking comment.

Nate Livingston also filed a complaint on Monday, however that complaint was filed incorrectly and had to be thrown out.
