NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Police busted a drug deal in progress but learned there was a substantial amount of drugs stashed at two other locations.

They said the suspect, Alan Gonzalez, led them to marijuana hidden across Nashville.

Police said they first arrested Gonzalez at a Walgreens on Nolensville Pike with a quarter pound of marijuana that he was accused of trying to sell.

When they took him into custody, police said Gonzalez told officers there was more marijuana at his house on Cedar Valley Drive. At that location, officers found three pounds of pot.

Police later learned that Gonzalez had a storage shed near Overton High School where they discovered 39 bags of marijuana.

Gonzalez was taken to the Metro jail and is facing felony drug charges.

Police said he told them he doesn't have a job, so he was selling drugs to provide for himself.
