CLIFTON, OH (FOX19) - A pedestrian was struck by a motorcycle Thursday afternoon in Clifton.
Police say Jacob Kreuzmann, 24, and Eliza Barnett, 22, were crossing Clifton Avenue near the intersection of Clifton and Terrace Avenue around 2:45 p.m.
Police say the pair was not in a marked crosswalk when they entered the street, and Kreuzmann was hit by a Honda motorcycle traveling northbound on Clifton Avenue.
He was knocked off his feet and trapped under a nearby parked vehicle, according to police. Cincinnati Fire personnel and bystanders worked to free him from under the car.
Kreuzmann was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in serious condition. Barnett was not injured in the incident.
The male driver of the motorcycle was partially thrown from the bike, but authorities say he was wearing a helmet. He also was taken to UCMC in critical condition.
His identity has not yet been released.
Speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash.
The investigation is ongoing, and any witnesses to the crash are asked to contact the Cincinnati Police Department's Traffic Unit at (513) 352-2514.
