21-year-old killed in Grant Co. crash

CRITTENDEN, KY (FOX19) - A 21-year-old man was killed in an accident Saturday evening in Grant County.

Authorities say Jack Masters, of Dry Ridge, was driving a 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier and pulled onto Mt. Zion Road-Crittenden Road from a residential driveway.

In doing so, he pulled in front of a 2006 Dodge Durango, driven by 31-year-old Tabatha Noble, also of Dry Ridge. It happened just before 10 p.m.

Kentucky State Police (KSP) say Masters' was hit on the drivers side. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Grant County Coroner. A passenger in the car, Kyle McMullen, 20, was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center (UCMC).

Noble's Durango flipped onto its drivers side as a result of the collision. Two juveniles in her vehicle were also taken to UCMC.

All those injured in the crash suffered non life-threatening injuries, according to KSP.

The crash remains under investigation.
