GOSHEN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - Two people were arrested over Memorial Day weekend for allegedly bringing children along to an arranged drug deal in Goshen Township.
Avery Pasley, 22, and Katryna Goins, 25, were taken into custody following an undercover investigation by the Goshen Township Police Department.
Investigators say Pasley came to Goshen to sell crack cocaine and was driven by Goins, who was also aware of the planned drug deal.
During a traffic stop by officers, Goins was found to be driving while under the influence. She also reportedly had six children in the car, ranging from 3 months to 9-years-old.
Investigators say only the 3-month-old was in a car seat. The others were not buckled in, with some seated on the floorboard of the vehicle.
Goins was charged with three counts of child endangering, OVI, child restraint, and permitting drug abuse.
Pasley was charged with three counts child endangering, child restraint, and drug trafficking.
Both suspects were taken to the Clermont County Jail.
Police say 241-KIDS responded to the scene of the traffic stop and removed the children.
