BLUE ASH, OH (FOX19) - The City of Blue Ash began development work on Summit Park this week.
The 130-acre park, located at the corner of Glendale Milford and Plainfield Road, will undergo site demolition, clearing and construction over the next several years.
A 40-acre area was fenced off on Friday for construction purposes, but the remaining 90 acres will be available to the public.
Officials say throughout the next 12-18 months of 'Phase I', the Great Lawn, ponds and sledding hills will begin to take shape.
Phase I also includes the clearing of vegetation and trees in one corner of Summit Park, which will be directly recycled on site and used in the development of natural amenities of the park.
A Master Plan of the complete can be found on www.blueash.com under 'Information on Summit Park'.
