2 hurt in Ripley County crash

MORRIS, IN (FOX19) - Two people were taken to the hospital after a crash Wednesday afternoon in Ripley County.

It happened just after 2 p.m. on SR 46 in Morris.

Police say Renee Dryer, 44, of Cincinnati was traveling westbound and was making a right turn into a private driveway when she was rear-ended by a Jeep driven by Mary Siedling, 68, of Laurel.

Dryer and her front seat passenger, Anita Dustrede, 41, of Sunman, Ind., were transported to Margaret Mary Hospital in Batesville for head, back, and neck pain.

There were also three children in the back seat Dryer's car, ages 6, 13, and 13, who were uninjured.

Siedling was cited for Following Too Close.
