On Saturday, June 1, the Beach Waterpark, an Adventure Landing Park, celebrates the beginning of summer with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The Beach was closed last season after filing Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The waterpark is now under new ownership. Adventure Landing owns and operates 18 family entertainment centers and two waterparks across the country.
"We are very glad to be getting the summer underway at The Beach. The weather is looking great this weekend and our wave pool, arcade, slides, attractions and eateries are all open and ready," says Adventure Landing Park owner Hank Woodburn. "We are thankful to the community for all the tremendous support. Our company is honored to bring The Beach back to everyone."
"The ribbon cutting ceremony is going to be a milestone- moment for us," says General Manager, Ralph Vilardo, Jr. "We've been working so hard for so many months, that it's a tremendous feeling to be officially received from the state, the county and the City. We are thankful for everyone's continued support and look forward to an incredible summer."
The Beach is adding many new attractions and is spending $5 million on renovations for the new season.
