CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Outrageous costumes, beer chugging and foot racing reigned supreme at the Tap N' Run 4k on Saturday morning.
The unique, downtown race combined participants' love of beer and running for a one-of-a-kind run/walk totaling 2.4 miles. Participant ran past many Cincinnati landmarks including the Purple People Bridge, Great American Ballpark and Paul Brown Stadium.
Participants were encouraged to dress in costume and run with teams, friends and family of legal drinking age.
Three different 'chug stations' were set up along the route. The 'chug stations' required participants to chug a four-ounce sampler of beer before continuing along the race route.
At the finish line, runners received a full beer and a chance to win awards at the after party.
A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit a local charity, The Cincinnati Sport Corporation.
