Fugitive arrested on multiple charges in different incidents

CLEVELAND (Toledo News Now) -

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force has announced the capture of fugitive Ramal Hammond Thursday morning, just days after he was named "Fugitive of the Week."

Hammond was wanted by the U.S. Marshals and Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Office for the following:

-Carrying a concealed weapon

-Weapons under disability

-Two counts of trafficking

-Drug possession

-Two counts of aggravated burglary

-Two counts of aggravated robbery

-Two counts of felonious assault

-Two counts of kidnapping

All of these charges stem from three different cases that happened in 2011. 

Officials say they were able to arrest him based on tips.

Anyone with information about a known fugitive and his or her whereabouts should contact the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force at 1-866-4WANTED, or text the keyword "WANTED" and "tip" to 847411. Tipsters can remain anonymous. Reward money is available.
