COVINGTON, KY (FOX19) -
It is pool season again and The City of
Covington is happy to announce that the three public pool locations within the
city are opening on June 8.
Pool access is free for Covington residents in
possession of a pool pass. Pool passes are currently available at City Hall, in
the Recreation Department, 638 Madison Avenue, First Floor, and will be issued
from this office Monday through Friday, 8am- 4:30pm through August 9.
Additionally, pool passes will
be available seven days a week, beginning Saturday, June 8 through Sunday, June 16,
at each of the pool locations from noon-6:00pm; the Covington Waterpark
location will offer extended hours until 7pm. Residents will be required to
provide proof of residency in order to obtain a pool pass.
Applicants must be 18 years of
age or older and will be required to complete and sign their own form. Parents
and grandparents may get a pool pass for any children or grandchildren under
the age of 18. Each pool pass comes with three guest passes. After June 16,
residents may only get pool passes at City Hall during regular business hours.
To acquire a pool pass at any location, Covington residents will need to
provide proof of residency, (a valid driver's license or state ID). If a
resident has recently relocated to Covington and not yet in possession of an ID
with proof of address, a lease or utility bill showing their Covington address
along with a photo ID is acceptable.
