MADEIRA, OH (FOX19) -
Police are trying to identify two suspects accused of stealing an elderly woman's credit card and then using it at various convenience stores in the area.
An elderly woman reported she was shopping at Madeira Kroger on June 1 when a black male starting following her around the store. He then reportedly took her wallet from the cart while she wasn't paying attention.
Police say the male suspect then immediately left the store and got into the passenger side of a dark-colored vehicle. Within minutes, the victim's credit card was used at the Walgreens across the street from Kroger.
The suspect using the credit card was a black female with sunglasses, according to authorities. The same female then used the credit card at CVS in Silverton and Walgreens in Pleasant Ridge.
Approximately $1,500 was spent on the card.
Detectives believe the two suspects are the same that were involved in a similar offense in Cheviot.
Anyone with information regarding these incidents is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (513) 352-3040.
