No one injured in early morning house fire

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Cincinnati Fire crews put out a house fire in the 1800 block of Kinney Avenue in Evanston on Wednesday morning.

There was light smoke in the residence when they arrived and firefighters were quickly able to determine the source of the smoke was a fire in the basement.

The residents of the home were out before the fire department arrived. No one was injured.

Damage is estimated at $5000. The cause of the fire was determined to be combustibles too close to a water heater.
