FRANKLIN, OH (FOX19) - The City of Franklin's Police Department plans to hold a prescription drug collection day this Saturday.
The event is scheduled in conjunction with the WesBanco Community Day on Saturday, June 15 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. The collection will take place in the WesBanco parking lot, located at 310 S. Main Street in Franklin.
Organizers say no personal identification will be needed or recorded at the time of the drop off.
Citizens can bring prescription drugs, over-the-counter drugs or any other medications they wish to discard. All medications will be received by law enforcement, who will then properly dispose of all items received.
Officers will also be providing fingerprinting and safety booklets to families with minor children.
