Cincinnati mayoral candidates participate in forum

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Four City of Cincinnati mayoral candidates  participated in the first mayoral forum Thursday, hosted by Uptown Consortium and the Neighborhoods of Uptown (NOU).

Jim Berns, John Cranley, Stacy A. Smith, and Roxanne Qualls participated in the event at Cincinnati Children's MERC Auditorium.

The candidates presented their ideas about the budget, layoffs and the city's recently debated parking overhaul and the importance of the uptown region, which consists of the Avondale, Clifton, Corryville, Clifton Heights, Fairview, University Heights, and Mt. Auburn neighborhoods.
