LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Police recovered more than $30,000 worth of stolen electronics, firearms and jewelry from a couple accused of breaking into Jeffersontown houses.

Officers arrested Alba Ramos, 27 and Adam Glisson, 24, after tracking the couple to Inn Town Suites on Preston Highway. Police said an Apple product's "Find My Location" feature alerted law enforcement of their location.

Police also found precious metal possibly worth more than dollars and cents among gold and silver jewelry.

"What's just heartbreaking is the fact that this pair stole World War I and Work War II military tags," said Major Ken Hatmaker of the Jeffersontown Police Department. "The metal itself may not have monetary value, but they're obviously family heirlooms."

Jeffersontown police said Ramos and Glisson targeted houses for sale during the day. Hatmaker said Ramos would usually hang out in the driveway to ward off neighbors while Glisson would break in the back door.

Police identified five cases in and around Jeffersontown.

"We believe there are unreported, unsolved burglaries," Hatmaker said. "At this point, we hope the public will identify the items here and we may be able to return the items to the rightful owner."

Detectives also seized pills, heroin and drug paraphernalia. Hatmaker said it appears the coupe sold stolen items at pawn stores and used the cash to fuel their drug addiction.
