TUCSON, AZ (CBS5) -

A truck disguised as a U.S. Fish and Wildlife vehicle was filled with 933 pounds of marijuana when it was found near the U.S.-Arizona border, officers said.

Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents said the truck displayed phony decals in an attempt to make it appear as if it were an official federal vehicle. Fake uniforms were also found inside the vehicle.

Douglas Station agents working near Elfrida in southern Arizona attempted to stop a vehicle they suspected was being used to smuggle narcotics.

The driver and passenger, suspected to be undocumented immigrants, fled to avoid arrest. A short time later, agents said they found the truck, loaded with bundles of marijuana. The suspects smugglers were arrested.

The narcotics are worth an estimated $466,500.

Both Mexican nationals are being prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney's Office. The marijuana will be turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration.
