Michael Moore has his eyes on a bigger prize for "Fahrenheit 9/11." Moore says he won't put the film up for best documentary at this year's Academy Awards. Instead, he wants to promote it for best picture. The documentary that slams President Bush's war on terror has become a huge hit -- making more money than any other documentary ever. Movies like documentaries and animated films have their own category -- and conventional wisdom holds that their best picture appeal is limited as a result. Moore won a best documentary Oscar for "Bowling for Columbine." He tells The Associated Press that the "real Oscar" for him would be a Bush defeat in November.
