Alex's Lemonade Stand held in Kenwood for pediatric cancer cause - Cincinnati News, Weather, Sports from FOX19 NOW-WXIX

Alex's Lemonade Stand set up to benefit pediatric cancer

KENWOOD, OH (FOX19) -

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF), a non-profit organization dedicated towards serving those with pediatric cancer, hosted a lemonade stand at a local Toys'R'Us on Friday.

Local volunteers set up the stand at the Kenwood location.

Shoppers enjoyed a glass of lemonade and donated to local kids in need. In 2012, Alex's Lemonade Stands across Ohio raised more than $700,000 to fight childhood cancers.

In the United States, over 11,000 children will be diagnosed with cancer this year alone.
