CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - 'Recess In the Stadium' was held at Paul Brown Stadium on Saturday to teach children and parents healthy habits.
One in three kids and teens are overweight or obese. The event was held in an effort to better inform families on the importance of good nutrition.
The Cincinnati Bengals, in partnership with the Heart Institute at Children's Hospital Medical Center, hosted a variety of aerobic activities and nutritional workshops inside the stadium.
Interactive activities included a 40-yard dash on the playing field, running and jumping through the Bengals' inflatable playground, health screenings, an ask a doctor booth, cheering and dancing with Ben-Gals cheerleaders and special drawings for gifts.
Children also had the opportunity to touch and feel a real cow heart to see how it works.
