Shots fired during funeral procession in Toledo

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

The Toledo Police Department's dispatch confirms Toledo police responded to shots fired during a funeral procession Monday afternoon.

The call came in regarding a location near Dorr Street and Forest Avenue in central Toledo.

The Toledo Police Watch Commander at Scott Park says the funeral procession was for Fredrick Watson, who was killed June 16 in his car near Avondale and Brown Avenues in central Toledo.

Police say no person or vehicle was hit.  The Gang Unit is investigating.
