COLUMBUS, OH (FOX19) - A local attorney is speaking in Columbus on Tuesday against speed cameras.
Mike Allen is seeking a class action lawsuit against the Village of Elmwood Place. The village installed speed cameras in September of 2012 and has collected over $1.75 million from people who are paying $105 per ticket.
Allen is scheduled to testify in the Statehouse at 2 p.m.
There is a bill in the Ohio House that would eliminate speed cameras all across the state.
