Police have identified the woman killed in a head-on collision with a dump truck Wednesday evening in Stonelick Township.
Clermont County officials say Amber Kelch, 22, of Moscow, was driving southbound on SR 132 with her 8-month-old son in the back seat.
Kelch was driving along a curve to the right and slid left of center, hitting a dump truck head-on. It happened around 5:30 p.m. south of Owensville, near Milepost #15.
Kelch was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say the 8-month-old was in a child safety seat and was taken to Cincinnati Children's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the truck, Scott Williams, was treated at the scene.
According to authorities, Kelch was wearing her seatbelt. However, the damage from the accident trapped her in the vehicle.
Alcohol is not suspected to be a factor.
The crash remains under investigation.
