YARNELL, AZ (AP) -
The U.S. Postal Service says all Yarnell residents forced to evacuate because of the ongoing wildfire can pick up their mail at the Wickenburg Post Office until further notice.
Postal officials say 600 Yarnell residents normally receive P.O. Box mail delivery at the Yarnell Post Office on Highway 89.
Yarnell Postmaster Janice Middleton said Monday that the status of the Post Office building is unknown following Sunday's evacuation.
Postal officials say residents evacuated from the Peeples Valley area can still get their mail at the Kirkland Post Office until further notice.
