It's hot and the last thing many people want to do is go outside and go grocery shopping.
But now there's a convenient way to get fresh produce and vegetables available for home delivery.
The North Scottsdale Farmers Market delivers to Scottsdale, Cave Creek, Chandler and Gilbert.
Customers can select online a variety of foods, including corn, melons, squash and apricots.
Mary Lineback from North Scottsdale Farmers Market says most of the vegetables are picked the day before they are sold. Plus, there are limited pesticides.
The delivery service is not only great for people who are trying to beat the heat.
"It's been exciting for moms with little kids that have activities, they still want the fresh produce, fresh breads, meats, seafood," said Lineback.
"The younger crowd, that are out late on a Friday night, they still want to eat healthy but they don't want to come up early and then we've already closed," added Lineback.
Melissa Strang has been taking advantage of the service for six months. She has a little boy and loves she can feed him great food without a lot of hassle
"Sometimes I work on Saturdays," said customer Melissa Strang. "Today I ordered eggs, oranges, kale and popcorn."
