After an accident involving a semi trailer that got loose and smashed through a barrier on I-74 and 275 near Miamitown, the eastbound side of the highway has now been reopened.
Authorities say a semi-truck headed westbound lost its trailer, which ended up in the eastbound lanes. Somewhere along the line, the trailer also caught fire.
It happened near Hamilton Cleves Pike Road (SR 128), in the section where I-74 and I-2785 are combined.
All lanes on the eastbound side were closed for more than two hours.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the crash has not been released.
