MONTGOMERY, OH (FOX19) - Two people were taken into custody following a police pursuit ending in a three-vehicle crash on Monday.
Authorities say a sheriff's deputy equipped with Automatic License Plater Recognition received an alert for a stolen license plate. The vehicle in question was a 1998 white Honda Accord which was headed on Loveland-Madeira Road in Symmes Township.
The deputy attempted to stop the car, which then fled onto eastbound I-275.
A police pursuit followed at speeds of 85 mph down the interstate before taking the Wards Corner Road exit. The pursuit continued westbound on S. R. 126 and then onto Remington Road, when the deputy finally lost sight of Honda just east of Main Street.
The vehicle ended up colliding with two other cars at the intersection of Remington and Montgomery Road. No serious injuries were reported.
The driver of the stolen car, Natasha Wilson, 26, and front seat passenger Steven Mages, 24, both of Blanchester, were arrested.
Wilson was charged with two counts of receiving stolen property, failure to comply, drug abuse instruments and had five outstanding warrants. She was taken to the Hamilton County Justice Center and had her bond set at $37,000 during an arraignment on Tuesday morning.
Mages was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant from Clermont County. He was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center for back pain and will be turned over to the Clermont County Sheriff's Office upon his release.
In total, the pursuit lasted seven minutes and covered a distance of 7.1 miles.
